What a week, right?! 😳🙀
I don’t know about you, but the past week has been a whole lot of chaos around here.
First, it’s been snowing like crazy ❄️🥶, my daughter fell and fractured two ribs 😩, daylight savings time ⏰🙄, my flight ✈️ was significantly delayed so two people could be escorted off 😳 (getting me home after 1 am😴), my mom had surgery… and (of course, less significant, but…) Facebook and Instagram crash! 🤦🏻♀️🧟♀️ What a week, right?!
But a dear friend of mine (Hi Wanda! 👋🏼) gave me a great new way to look at it all. She said, “What if this is a message that we need to rest and relax?” 🤯
And she was so right. I needed a shift in perspective. I needed to slow down. I needed to let my mind and body rest.
So, I played outside, and it was glorious! ☀️😀
For the first time in over a month, the temperature was above freezing and enough snow had melted to safely walk outside. So I did a couple of chores and played with my dogs, Napoleon and Josephine. 🐶🐶
The picture below is Napoleon catching snowballs. He loves doing it, and it is something so simple, yet it makes us all happy. 😃
So, you probably didn’t see me much on social media this week, and I’m okay with that. It felt good to take a break, get some fresh air, and laugh.
What are you doing this week to let your mind and body relax? What’s your favorite way to play? 🤔🤗♥️
